Spring Break for Sanctuary Seekers

That glorious mid-March vacation is on the horizon. Doesn’t it seem like an eternity since you and your family had a break? While typical Spring Break beach destinations may conjure up visions of raucous parties, we have a secret for you: a beach vacation during Spring Break can actually be a wholesome family experience.

You work hard to keep things in order 24 hours a day, seven days a week. As you look forward to enjoying a week off of work and school with your loved ones, allow us to suggest a few of our favorite activities at Cinnamon Shore that are perfect for winding down, taking things easy, and living simply.

Do morning yoga on the beach

Breathe in that fresh, salty air, and breathe out stress — you’re on island time now. This morning yoga session will leave you relaxed and rejuvenated so you can enjoy the rest of your vacation with ease.

Grab a drink at C Bar

C Bar Cafe overlooks Cinnamon Shore’s freshwater infinity pool, making it the perfect spot to sit back with a margarita in-hand. Grab your favorite seat by the edge of the water and bask in the beautiful Port Aransas sunshine.

Enjoy a bonfire and shrimp boil on the beach

Take in the crashing waves at sunset with a shrimp boil and bonfire on the beach — guaranteed to become a yearly family tradition. Cinnamon Shore takes care of all the setup and breakdown, so you don’t have to lift a finger (except raise a toast, that is).

Read on your outdoor deck or patio

Ready to tackle your list of reads from NPR’s Best Books of 2017? Look no further than your own beach house — filled with cozy spaces to curl up and enjoy some alone time.
