Spring Break: Unplugged
iPads, iPhones, Macbooks, PS4s, Xboxes – doesn’t it seem like your kids are constantly staring at a screen? Their mid-semester break will be here in just a few weeks, and with a vacation from school comes a much-needed vacation from technology, too.
Cinnamon Shore’s Spring Break itinerary is packed with beach activities that’ll have your kids swapping their devices for surfboards, sand, and seashells — giving your entire family some quality one-on-one time. Read on to learn about a few of our favorite activities and traditions.
Surf Lessons
Kids of all ages can take lessons with Texas Surf Camp, where they’ll learn the basics of riding waves from seasoned instructors. (Little known fact, the waves on Mustang Island are some of the best to learn to surf on!)
Kids Camp
Kiera’s Pool is the place to be for an afternoon of crafting, painting, swimming, and lawn games. Just drop the kids off and our staff will do the entertaining while you get your relaxation on at C Bar or the beach. Perfect for ages 4-11.
Sandcastle Lessons
Your kids will learn the tricks and techniques of sand sculpting with the one and only Port Aransas Sandcastle Guy. Tools are provided — all your kids have to do is show up and build their masterpiece!
S'mores Night
Bring the kids to the Great Lawn to make their very own delicious s’mores after a big day at the beach. (Don’t worry — parents can indulge too!)
