A new homes story by this Coastal Bend magazine highlights a San Antonio family's decision to buy as Cinnamon Shore

After vacationing at Cinnamon Shore for a few years, the Carters started looking to buy a vacation home there, writes The Bend's Jacqueline Gonzalez. They chose a two-story residence at our new Tradewinds Outpost building, which houses eight, elegant multi-story town homes. Their two-story, three-bedroom residence is located at the end of the building, offering them excellent Gulf views.

The article discusses how they worked with interior design Courtney Rangel to create living spaces they love--and the article offers a great depiction of how buyers at Cinnamon Shore go from Cinnamon Shore Realty office to their coastal dream home. Buyers often work with interior designers like Courtney, who have long relationships with Cinnamon Shore, and they benefit from the excellent architects and builders who know how to create the signature look and feel of the community.

Bright, patterned upholstery and pops of coral give the home its interior scheme that the Carters loved. Courtney says the upholstery, created by Cathy Aiton, greatly contributes to the look, calling it the "the bang and happiness of the home."

The vivid upholstery stands out amid the restful blue hues that give the home its calming aura.

To tie the shared kitchen and family room together, a shiplap wall adds a connection, along with a large dining table doubles as a kind of kitchen island thanks to four stools that tuck underneath. The stool pull out when it's time to seat a crowd, and they face four upholstered chairs on the opposite side of the table.

In the family room, a comfortable neutral sectional with accent pillows in coral designs and Port Aransas beach blues faces a wall-mounted TV and doors that lead the porch.

White cabinetry and stainless appliances give the kitchen a sleek look, along with a shiny, white backsplash comprised of subway tile. And upstairs, the article describes a broad hallway with room for a console table. Courtney opted to outfit the table with a custom Schumacher skirt "to add flair to the space and greet guests cheerfully as they walk upstairs."

"As Courtney reflects on her masterpiece, she says that what truly makes the area pop is the design on the upholstery – 'it’s the bang and happiness in the home!' The combination of the neutral color palette and the pops of coral and variety of blue hues provides an air of peace, calmness, and carefree fun that is reminiscent of being out by the ocean. --The Ben
