A Perfect Plan
Sharing a Vacation Home~
Greg Fox and his brother envisioned a three-story home to share, building at a site with easy access to lake, pool, and beach.
On the lakeside boardwalk of Cinnamon Shore South stands The Great White, a gleaming, brand-new vacation home shared by two beach-loving brothers.
Greg and Brian Fox grew up vacationing in Port Aransas back in the ’80s and early ’90s, giving the town a place in Fox family lore. “It was always our destination summer trip growing up south of Fort Worth,” Brian says. “So, it was a little nostalgic for us to have a vacation home in the area.” Now, two strands of the Fox families share the six-bedroom beauty that they conceived and had built from the ground up. It’s theirs to enjoy, along with any vacation rental guests lucky enough to book a stay in this masterpiece.
“We believe the community feel in a beach and lake location is a very welcoming thing for guests. It is clean, quaint, and friendly, with great food, events, and people.”

Greg Fox, wife Amanda, and their three children chose Cinnamon Shore for its amenities and location.
Symmetry for Sharing
The Foxes envisioned simple, beachy interiors and a truly balanced floor plan that’s perfect for sharing. The six bedrooms spread out over three stories, with a left and right bunk room on the first floor, left and right queen suites on the second floor, and left and right king master suites on the third floor.
Both of the sumptuous, king-size master suites on the third level have sweeping, balcony views over lake and pool. Each offers spa-like baths with soaking tubs and walk-in showers for a luxe experience.
The second-floor main living space draws everyone together, with open-concept den flowing to dining area and kitchen.
The open-concept, 2nd-floor plan feels open and airy, with spacious sofas inviting lounging after a day on the beach.
Double Bunk Rooms
The mirror bunk rooms make a great escape for kids, and bunkmates have their own den on the ground level.
Reflective White
As the home’s name, The Great White, implies, the color white plays a dominant role in the home’s color scheme (Don’t worry: There’s no shark in sight!) On the exterior, white reflects the sun to keep things cool, like the white-painted homes on the Greek isles. Inside, white walls, white built-in bunks, and white cabinetry make a nautical contrast with navy and other shades of blue on bedding and accessories throughout.
In the all-white kitchen, a trio of lights with wicker shades shine above the spacious island, which provides bonus seating in bar-height chairs.
Amenities & Location
A friend's enthusiasm about Cinnamon Shore sparked the Foxes’ interest. Brian and Greg were told it was “the next 30A of Texas,” according to Greg. They liked what they heard about the “greatly improved beach and the future plans for amenities that all of our kids and friends can enjoy.”
To check out the community, they vacationed at Cinnamon Shore North and got to know the lifestyle firsthand. “We immediately took to it,” Greg says. “When we started seeing future plans for the community on top of what it already had, we were sold. We want to be part of the growth and have a place where the kids could enjoy a family-fun community on the ocean.”
Everything's Close
The Foxes love the home’s location overlooking the lake and close to the cabana-lined, infinity pool. “Everything is a short walk,” says co-owner Greg Fox.
The lakeside boardwalk leads quickly to the 'South' pool.
Rattan bucket chairs line the long and linear balcony porch, with views over lake and pool.
