At this festive weekend, you can:

• Marvel at master sand sculptors who turn their gritty medium into incredible modern art on the beach! Enjoy the work of Master Duo Sculptors, Master Solo Sculptors, and Semi-Pro Sculptors.

• Enter the amateur contest and show-off your own sand castle-building skills. Families at Cinnamon Shore have won awards in the past for their creations!

• Enjoy music, food trucks, kids' activities, and shopping!

What is Texas SandFest?

It's the largest, native-sand sculpture competition in the United States--and Port A's biggest beachfront party! 

A celebration of sand! There's a Master Gallery where you can stroll down the beach watch the pros at work! There are amateur sand sculpting contests for adults, teens, guppies and youth! A live music stage on the beach welcome a full roster of bands and solo acts every day and night!

First a small, local competition back in 1997, the event has become an internationally recognized, three-day, family event that attracts renowned sand sculptors and tens of thousands of international visitors each year! The event benefits the community by raising funds for local charities and scholarships for high school students.

Who are these master sculptors?

They are some of the world's most renown artisans in this field. They know how to pack and carve into sand in a way that makes a statement. They are not your average sand castle builders. Now, they they will bring their talents to the beaches of Port Aransas this year, after winning 1st and 2nd place honors, along with People's Choice award at previous Texas SandFest competitions. 

Where is SandFest?

SandFest is on the beach between mile markers 9 and 13.

North Entrance: On the beach at Sandcastle Drive (marker 8). 

South Entrance: Near Beach Access Road 1A (marker 18).

TICKET INFO

Three-day wristbands are available at each entrance and serve as your ticket to the masters gallery, music tent, and more. Cash only. Not sold in advance. No one-day tickets available.

Adults (ages 13 and up): $30; Kids 6-12: $5; Kids 5 and under: Free. Purchase tickets HERE.
