South Town Square

Envisioned as a new social hub with a robust retail and dining district, a 100,000-square-foot Town Sqare is on the drawing board for South! Sited along the west side of the village’s primary lake, the open-air space will feature mixed-use buildings centered around a waterfront stage, green space, and a boardwalk providing walkable interconnectivity with the overall community.

Cinnamon Shore has enlisted award-winning firm Kimmel Studio Architects of Annapolis, Maryland for the plan*. With extensive experience designing waterfront properties along Chesapeake Bay, Kimmel is planning architecture, interior design, and  landscape architecture. The conceptual renderings* capture the mood of a vibrant, coastal gathering spot that will include a spa, dining, shops, guest services, an additional realty sales office, and more.

Playtime Sports Courts

This new complex on Playtime Drive will offer two pickle ball courts, half-court basketball, shaded viewing area, a water station, and a fenced-in grassy space where younger kids can play tag and other games. Breaking ground summer 2023

 Tailwind Park

A lush garden for homeowners and guests, this new park provides breathing room and a place to visit, lounge, and play. Cozy up around the fire pit or chat under sunshades or bistro lighting at twilight. Pebbled paths lead you through seating areas on your way to the Gulf or community pools. Breaking ground in 2023

Neighborly Square Pool

A shaded and private pool on Neighborly Square, with tropical landscaping features a bubbling fountain, a walkway over the pool water, a palm-shaded nook for hammocks, and a firepit. Lounge chairs set in the shallows allow you to dangle your feet in the water. Under two pergolas, tables and chairs allow for a game of UNO, a picnic lunch, or a quick look at your laptop. Shower and bathroom facilities make it easy to camp out here for hours. Breaking ground May 2023

Landmark Towers

Punctuating sight lines down neighborhood streets, these three, new towers will serve as distinctive landmarks at the end of Serendipity Street, Sundown Court, and Coastline Drive. Breaking ground in 2023

New Pavilions

The shoreline of the lake in Phases 5 and 6 will offer a shaded place to prep fishing tackle or to serve as a destination for an afternoon stroll. Others will help define streetscapes as architectural gems in their own right. Breaking ground in 2023

Coastline Fire Lounge             

Visit around open flames flickering in this charming new park that will enhance Phase 2 along Coastline Drive. Whether swapping ghost stories or telling tall tales, you’ll have fun at this new gathering spot. Breaking ground summer 2023

South Dog Park

Like the Dune Dogs Playground at Cinnamon Shore North, this destination for dog-walkers will become a favorite of pet lovers and their pets. Located in Phase 4, it will offer plenty of grassy space to play, shade and benches for masters to watch the fun, and separate spaces for larger dogs and for smaller breeds. Breaking ground this summer.

New Event Venue

This beautifully landscaped event structure will welcome indoor and outdoor celebrations and festivities, from weddings and family reunions to business meetings, retreats, and private dining experiences. Breaking ground in 2024, delivering in 2025

Sundown Court

This paved, pedestrian-friendly plaza connects two residences along a lake and anchors along the axis of a prominent tower and obelisk. Five, beautifully planned park spaces will offer places to play and cozy plazas lined with reading benches, bistro tables, shade trees, and a community fire pit. This thoroughfare promises to become a favorite place to hang out and stroll, and it’s a beautiful venue to take in a sunset.

Sneak Peek Coming Soon: Phase 4 Neighborhood Pool & Fitness Center

Pergolas, palms, and lounge chairs will line this glistening pool, which will be surrounded by brick pavers and shaded by surrounding cottages and homes. It also will be backed by a state-of-the-art fitness center with plans we can reveal soon!

Family Pool & Splash Pad-Finishing Fall 2023

This welcoming pool for family and children connects to our popular cabana-lined pool at South. With a landmark tower, this gorgeous new pool also overlooks the large lake and will include a splash pad and Instagram-worthy wall.
