The color experts have spoken! Pantone Color Institute has announced its choice for 2025 Color of the Year. And it could not have selected a hue more aesthetically aligned with Cinnamon Shore than the sophisticated, earthy brown it has dubbed "Mocha Mousse."

Thoughtful Indulgence

Representing a desire for comfort and opulence, according to Pantone, the color shows up all across Cinnamon Shore--in wave-saturated sand, grass-covered dunes, weathered driftwood on the beach, and sturdy palm tree trunks. It also plays a key role in the color palettes of our vacation homes.

The Institute describes PANTONE 17-1230 Mocha Mousse as “an evocative soft brown that transports our senses into the pleasure and deliciousness it inspires.” 

Harmonious Hues

The shade was chosen by the Institute with the intent of “capturing a global mood of connection, comfort, and harmony,” a sentiment familiar to our guests following their visit to the shore.

According to Laurie Pressman, Vice President of the Pantone Color Institute, “the color reaches into our desire for comfort and wellness, and the indulgence of simple pleasures that we can gift and share with others.” You'll see the color trending across industries this year, from fashion and beauty to consumer packaging and home design.
