Help Cinnamon Shore Give Back!

Deadline: Mon., Dec. 9

After the family photos are taken and you’re packing up to head home, help Cinnamon Shore stock the local food bank this holiday season and provide toys for area children in need.

We’re collecting canned or dried food and toys at the Vacation Rentals office through Mon., Dec. 9th.

How to Participate

For the food drive, grab extra items at the Port A IGA or share leftover canned green beans from your beachside family meals. Families like yours can ensure The Port Aransas Helping Hands Food Bank has plenty to give.

For the Toy Roundup, benefiting Port Aransas Emergency Services, plan to bring a new, unwrapped toy for your vacation or pick something up locally and drop it in the bins. You'll see them in the vacation rentals office during your stay!

Understanding the Mission

According to the Port Aransas Helping Hands Food Pantry website, the non-profit group helps area families by providing:

• Emergency food for Port Aransas families
• Food assistance for children in school and school-related activities.

It is a non-profit that operates solely on donations and is staffed solely by volunteers. The HHFP is an agency of the Coastal Bend Food Bank in Corpus Christi, and does not discriminate on race, gender, or other such criteria.

Port Aransas Emergency Services, consisting of local fire, EMS, and police, collects toys each year for area children to brighten their Christmas morning.

Join us in contributing to these worthy causes!
