The Wooden Boat Festival began in 2014, an annual three-day event that features handcrafted kayaks, paddleboards, skiffs and sailing boats—as well as historic Farley boats from the local Farley Boat Works. Learn about boat building and boating or build a boat in the Family Boat Building competition. A market, kids activities, and live music round out this year's schedule!

Family Boat Build

The Family Boat Build is the weekend's central main event, in which three to four families build a boat in two and a half days and launch the boats on Sunday afternoon with a champagne toast at 2 p.m.

Coastal Market & Kids Activities

A market features a variety of vendors, including food, arts and crafts and boat kit vendors.

Other Activities

The stage feature island music by Chuy Fiel on Friday Night and by a Jimmy Buffet cover band on Saturday night.

Enjoy food trucks, a Saturday car show featuring antique, classic, hot rod and special interest models, Farley Boat Works, kids’ activities and more.
